On the 23rd February 2018, the Obaland academy committee was amazed after listening to a melodious composition originally arranged by The Wrammers, which obligated the obaland academy to reward the European most talented 21th century ensemble, with passion, it was finally concluded to honour The Wrammers with a prestigious monarch’s award, under the international category of “Obaland Royal Awards” Best music group of the year 2018 (Honor)
The ensemble was born in Turin in 2016, during the years of Torino Jazz Festival, towards the last edition, the string orchestra of the master Oscar Doglio Sanchez, who has collaborated on the realization of the project dedicated to the famous guitarist Django Reinhardt. The taste for the fusion of sounds sought after by the symphonic character and at the same time virtuosities and improvisations created, on that occasion, an absolute novelty in the European music scene. To date, the project boasts numerous collaborations with artists of the most varied musical genres: pop, Reggae,rock, jazz, electronics and others. The training and formalisation is the cello by Oscar Doglio Sanchez, the first violin Paolo Chiesa, the second violin by Matteo Mandurrino and viola by Ruggero Mastrolorenzi.
